Fashion IT girl Cara Delevigne, has just landed her first first ever solo campaign for Topshop! This isn’t the first time the quirky supermodel has been involved with the highstreel giants. She’s walked in their Unique shows and she also appeared in the Kate Moss campaign back in 2010. I’m super excited about this collection because she’s definitely my favourite model. She’s juggled a gazillion things this year and still manages to keep things fun and bizarre. She’s just a ball of positive energy! Other than the fact that she has the most perfect eyebrows, she’s also got the voice of angel. Do you remember her duet with Will Heard? It was on repeat on my iPod for ages. (Listen to it here)
Sir Philip Green commented on the campaign saying “It (was) fitting to have a fabulous, young British star such as Cara at the epicentre of our campaign. I am hopeful and confident that this will be the beginning of another strong relationship for TOPSHOP.”
Check out this two-toned metallic skater dress from Topshop! I think it would really cute with this pair of strappy cobalt blue sandals by Alexander Wang. High street statement buys are the best kind of buys!
Today I’m wearing these super cool striped Topshop pants with my Warehouse top and Sandro jacket. My shoes are Gianvito Rossi and my bag is the Vivienne by Louis Vuitton. I’ve grown so found of the name Vivienne since I bought this bag. Maybe for the same reasons I like the names Celine, Zara and Chloe. Who knows. My sunglasses are Cutler and Gross. I Love Cutler and Gross because I can go in and change my mirrored lenses any time to any colour I want! I get compliments about them all the time. You can stop by Opticos Shami in Amman because they stock the collection. If not, then you can go online and check out their website!
Treat yourself to a sexy red number this Christmas, because nothing says winter rose like a little red dress against a gloomy backdrop. This quilted chanille Alexander McQueen will put you back over a thousand pounds, so keep your eyes peeled next time you’re on the high-street! I found this preppy crystal crown dress by Sister Jane at Topshop. I’m a huge fan of the preppy look, but you can always try something more daring!
Our high street queen is back in the Topshop saddle after a three year break! Kate Moss is in London right now working alongside Topshop’s creative director Kate Phelan to launch her collection this coming April. It’ll feature around 40 pieces inspired by the super model’s personal wardrobe; as was the case with her previous Topshop collections.
“I have really missed being involved in the design process, and working with the team at Topshop,” Moss said in a statement. “Now more than ever, with London being at the forefront of fashion…it feels like I’m back home working with Topshop.”
All of these high street collaborations are getting me super excited.
If you don’t know about my obsession with leather then you have not been following my blog long enough. This Topshop boutique high waisted leather midi skirt is my my current most coveted fall essential. It’s so effortless, easy to wear and super slick. #OBSESH!
I love the combination of a pair of high-waised shorts and a bra. Sure, it can be a little tarty but not if you keep it simple. Cover up with a blazer and do up one of the buttons! Make sure you don’t wear a bra that’s too revealing around the “nipular” area if you know what I mean? If you’re not feeling brave enough, wear a bralet instead. Give this look a try before the summer is over and make sure to keep it slick and simple. (All the items in this post are Topshop)
