These Givenchy “Matilda” sandals are absolutely killer! They’re not your typical strappy heels, what with the textured leather and the gold metal heel. They come in black or white. Wear these babies with a pencil skirt and blouse for uber chicness. Amanda Seyfried, who is now the face of Givenchy’s Very Irrésistible fragrance , was spotted wearing them at the premiere of ‘A Million Ways to Die in the West’
On the Lust List: Givenchy Matilda Sandals: £1,118
I personally can’t seem to wrap my head around the crossover slipper/sandal trend that’s become “all the rage” this Spring. I don’t find them to be very flattering on the feet at all! They’re a little scruffy if you don’t mind my saying. I don’t care if they’re “Céline”, they’re clearly a rip-off of the Birkenstock slipper and even they were fugly back in the 90’s. Fur or no fur, I don’t want them on my feet. Don’t get me wrong; I’m not judging, and I appreciate people’s fashion decisions for what they are.. But I’m giving this a trend a huge Nay. I don’t know why when a model like Andreea Diaconu is spotted wearing them, the trend suddenly becomes “cool” and “comfortably chic”. This is one retro trend that should have died back in the 90’s.
These folded ankle boots in black eel by Givenchy have managed to make their way up to the top of my Christmas wishlist! I’m quite tiny, so I’m obsessed with hidden heel. They’re not as bulky as Givenchy’s full calf boots and the eel is just divine.
I’m obsessing over these Givenchy silk-twill high top sneakers. I love the eastern inspired print! Make them the statement of your outfit and keep it simple with some skinnies and a white t-shirt. Pair your outfit with a chunky gold necklace. These sneaks are wishlist worthy!
Or if you’re feeling brave, mix up your prints a little!
This gorgeous Antigona Givenchy calf hair tote is sold out practically everywhere and for all the right reasons if we may add. The practicality of the handles, the dramatic splash of red down the middle, the zip detailing.. Our favourite bag of the season? It just might be.
There’s not much I can say except that I absolutely NEED these boots, They’re my favourite boots of the season, along with the Valentino ruffled lace ups. But these are something else; drama mama. I love the wedge and the fold. Adding them to my Christmas wishlist as we speak!
