These Givenchy “Matilda” sandals are absolutely killer! They’re not your typical strappy heels, what with the textured leather and the gold metal heel. They come in black or white. Wear these babies with a pencil skirt and blouse for uber chicness. Amanda Seyfried, who is now the face of Givenchy’s Very Irrésistible fragrance , was spotted wearing them at the premiere of ‘A Million Ways to Die in the West’
On the Lust List: Givenchy Matilda Sandals: £1,118
Mono earrings are all the rage at the moment and a key trend for this fall. Angelina Jolie and Rihanna have been seen pulling this edgy look off. It’s a refreshing change to the earcuff! Wear your hair to one side and pair your mono earring with a simple stud for a sexy asymmetrical look!
I love my smoky quartz Gucci ring because I’m fascinated with crystals and their healing powers. The popularity of the smoky quartz crystal is due not only to its gorgeous look, but also to the energy it provides. Smoky quartz is a very protective and grounding stone. It brings physical and psychic protection. Smoky quartz is very comforting and calming, and can be considered a stone of serenity and balance. Smokey Quartz disperses fear, lifts depression and negativity. It brings emotional calmness, relieving stress and anxiety. It promotes positive energy and good vibes!
For the past few seasons, the Kenzo slingbacks have taken the fashion world by storm, becoming every fashionista’s shoe wardrobe must-have. This fall, Kenzo debuted this gorgeous pair of patent leather ceres slingbacks with a touch of gold detailing. They can be styled with anything from pants to skirts. The insoles are cushioned for comfort too, so you can do proper milage in these babies!
These slit-detailed leather pants by Saint Laurent are sold out practically everywhere. For a whopping £4,511 I can’t really understand why though. At the end of the day, they are leather pants and the slits are nothing special. I’m a big fan of leather pants and my favourite brands to buy them from are Joseph, Theory, and J Brand.
Hedi Hedi Hedi, can’t you see? Sometimes your prices just baffle me. But I just love your flashy ways, guess that’s why we’re broke and you’re so paid. $$$$$$$$$
So you know all those ““Ain’t Laurent Without Yves” parody t-shirts everyone was wearing this summer? (Don’t ask me how that even happened) Well, it seems as though Colette in Paris carried 300 of them in their store this summer and Hedi Slimane wasn’t impressed! Saint Laurent requested the removal of the shirts from the online store, and when Colette moved them into the boutique they receieved a letter from Saint Laurent’s CEO Francesca Bellettini claiming that Colette was “selling counterfeit products that ‘seriously damaged’ the YSL brand and confirming the end of their business relationship.”
I don’t entirely agree that a bunch of lousy t-shirts could in any way affect a brand as powerful as Saint Laurent, but I see exactly where Slimane is coming from. Yves was a fashion pioneer, legitimzing trouser suits for women in the 60’s and adapting utilitarian garments for the high end fashion, but let’s give some credit to Slimane whose current winter grunge collection is literally selling out everywhere. I personally think he’s a genius and I hate to break to you honeys, there’s a whole lotta Laurent without Yves.
Oh and to top it off, Sarah Andelman, the creative director of the french boutique, was uninvited from the Saint Laurent Spring 2014 show. Ouch!
Can it get any sexier than this? Not only is it glossy vinyl, but it’s red too. I always find it refreshing when bright colours make it into winter wardrobes! It’s a nice twist on the classic Burberry trench and this one is an absolute must-have for this fall. Go on… Paint the town red. You know you want to.
Well, you heard right. The Isabel Marant for H&M look book has leaked and the collection is pure “Isabel”. The collection is very boho chic with lots of skinny denim, a pair of gorgeous tasseled boots, a beautiful embellished jacket and lots and lots of prints! In keeping with fall’s over-sized coat trend, the collection’s charcoal number will undoubtedly be a best seller! I can’t wait to get my hands on a pair of the leather tasseled boots in a size 36! If you see them, bag them for me. Too bad we still have to wait until the 14th of November… Get ready for a few cat fights! Meow.
I can usually pick out my 10 favourite looks from a collection in just under 10 minutes, but the Pucci show was out of this world! I loved every single look that came down that runway. And guess what? There’s no pastel palette; a refreshing change in Milan. And we really must talk about the shoes. The sexy forms, the delicate and vibrant bead work.. I have to say this collection is totally #winning.
Well, it seems as though I’m the only person in the world who thinks this collection is “nyeh”. I found the silhouettes extremely unflattering. And please don’t get me started on the 80’s leg warmers / jockey socks – in army green too! I have to admit however that the fur coats are fabulous, just not for Spring Miuccia I’m sorry. I get the entire feminist movement you want to evoke/revive with the all prints of women’s faces but why the bra-implanted coats and dresses? I thought women were burning their bras back then, not sewing them onto their sweaters. The collection isn’t put together, and seemed to fall apart. At least for me. I won’t say much else, here are some of the looks from the show.
