Will.I.Am performs in Nour Hammour studded jacket.

Will.I.Am performs his hit song “Fall Down” alongside Miley Cyrus in an awesome Nour Hammour studded leather jacket! Nour Hammour, can you be Hollywood’s next IT girl? I think so.

That wedding, that night.

My best friend got married this weekend and it was a magical night. I was having a bit of a “Leger” week, because I opted for a short Herve Leger dress for the pre-wedding party and then a long one for the night of the wedding. I wore a beautiful red and gold Mawi necklace and a Charlotte Olympia box clutch. You can’t tell in the picture, but I’m wearing a pair of incredibly comfortable Jimmy Choo’s. In fact, I lasted 10 hours without any gel pads or blisters! Of course when you’re having a good time, you don’t worry about your feet much. You just keep dancing! The music was amazing: 80’s, 90’s and all the hits of today! Both Arabic and English. The dance floor was buzzing all night. The bride looked absolutely stunning and you couldn’t ask for better weather. We’re always blessed with good weather in Amman. It was truly a night to remember. Congratulations Salwaty. x

Summer whites.

This summer white pumps are back and they’re here to stay! Here’s why; white pumps elongate legs, enhance summer tans, and match/clash with practically everything. Simply put, they are this season’s essential pair of shoes. The Louboutins above make a fine choice because of their creamy white colour.  The rule with white pumps: If the white’s too bright, you know it ain’t right.

Yup! It’s official. H&M’s latest collaboration with Isabel Marant is sure to be its greatest one yet. Marant will be designing  clothing and accessories for both men and women with the collections set to launch in stores November 14th. The industry is buzzing today and you won’t hear the end of it. I reckon the queue will be the longest yet, and I’m wondering if the collection will feature any sneakers.

If you’re looking to splash on a bag this fall, I’ve found it for you! This beautiful suede shoulder bag, named “Cassandre” after the artist who designed the ‘YSL’ logo, will be the perfect addition to any woman’s wardrobe.. Especially if you’re looking for timeless pieces you wish to turn into heirlooms! It’s classic yet trendy and you’re sure to make a statement carrying it. I love the gold tassel.

I’m obsessed with DylanLex; a new line of intricate and chunky statement pieces. The two designers describe themselves as “sisters addicted to piling on that good stuff”. They’re pieces aren’t for sale yet, but you can sign up for pre-sales when you visit their website here. With this sort of costume jewelry, nobody can “stack” it on like these girls do.. They’ve taken it to a whole other level and have totally redefined the arm party. They originally started with stacking pieces from all different designers, but now they’ve actually created their own line and we can’t wait to get our hands on a piece! Dylanlex is a line to watch out for for 2013.

Fall’s next BIG thing.

364892_in_xlYou know when you just know? These Reed Krakoff cutout leather and neoprene ankle boots are going to wreak havoc come this fall. They’re already flying off the shelves!
They’re a sexy pair of shoes and can pull any outfit together. I reckon fashionistas worldwide will pair these with cropped denim or a short cocktail dress. They’re very Kate Moss if you ask me.

Good luck finding a pair, and may the odds be ever in your favour.

All the Rage: Backpacks.

364744_in_xlThe Sophia Webster Ziggy cutout leather backpack.

The backpack is this year’s must-have bag. Because they were so huge back in the 80’s and 90’s, the backpack has become retro, edgy and very Coachella. Think flowers, sunsets and the hipstamatic iPhone app. We rarely saw backpacks in the noughties, except for a Chanel vintage pack every now and then. It just goes to show you that fashion does stand the test of time and history will always and always repeat itself. Channel your inner hipster and pair this back with denim shorts and some sick sneaks.
