Nothing says easy breezy like a pair of espadrilles. I love this Silver mesh Stella Mccartney pair because they can air out and the metallic tone matches practically any beach kaftan or bikini. I hope you’re all having a wonderful Friday afternoon! X
Created in collaboration with the Victoria & Albert museum, as part of its “The Glamour of Italian Fashion 1945 – 2014″ exhibition, these gold plated clip earrings celebrate the iconic Moschino Logo. They’re exclusive online at net-a-porter.com.
From the 5th of April to the 27th of July 2014, the exhibition will showcase the best of italian fashion from the end of the Second World War to the present day.
Don’t you just love summer so much – you just want to wear it? Summer motifs and prints make me really happy. These Filles A Papa denim jeans make me want to whip up a piña colada and dig my feet into the sand.
Here’s how I make mine:
- 2 ounces light rum
- 2 ounces cream of coconut
- 1 ounce heavy cream
- 4 ounces unsweetened pineapple juice
- Slice of pineapple and a maraschino cherry
Blend until smooth and garnish with the cherry because you’re awesome.
I don’t think Valentino Rockstuds will ever stop doing it for me. Since their introduction on the fall 2010 runway, I’ve grown to love how chic and versatile this shoe is. Whether you wear them with boyfriend jeans or a tailored short dress, they can make a statement no other pair of shoes can make- and that statement is effortless. They’re classic but incredibly edgy. This green pair has me ogling my laptop screen and brainstorming the ten million ways I would wear them.
I personally can’t seem to wrap my head around the crossover slipper/sandal trend that’s become “all the rage” this Spring. I don’t find them to be very flattering on the feet at all! They’re a little scruffy if you don’t mind my saying. I don’t care if they’re “Céline”, they’re clearly a rip-off of the Birkenstock slipper and even they were fugly back in the 90′s. Fur or no fur, I don’t want them on my feet. Don’t get me wrong; I’m not judging, and I appreciate people’s fashion decisions for what they are.. But I’m giving this a trend a huge Nay. I don’t know why when a model like Andreea Diaconu is spotted wearing them, the trend suddenly becomes “cool” and “comfortably chic”. This is one retro trend that should have died back in the 90′s.
“I fell for her in summer, my lovely summer girl, From summer she is made, my lovely summer girl, I’d love to spend a winter with my lovely summer girl, But I’m never warm enough for my lovely summer girl, It’s summer when she smiles, I’m laughing like a child, It’s the summer of our lives; we’ll contain it for a while She holds the heat, the breeze of summer in the circle of her hand I’d be happy with this summer if it’s all we ever had.” -
Maggie Stiefvater, “Shiver”
A group of talented young people put together the Jordanian rendition of the “Happy” video by Pharrell Williams! I think it’s pretty awesome. The “happy” crazy that took the world by storm was the perfect way to ring in 2014.
Who said Jordanian’s couldn’t be happy? #ByeByeكشرة
I am absolutely obsessed with these Gianvito Rossi ankle strap pumps! The reason why strappy pumps don’t suit me is because I don’t have legs for days and I’m quite petite. I always feel that the strap around the ankle cuts off the leg and makes it appear shorter. But it doesn’t mean these heels aren’t fabulous. If you’re a 5’3 and taller, these are the heels for you! Pair them with a tight midi skirt and bring on the sexy.
